The Eclipse Plus comes with an additional alarm for the parents’ bedroom which will trigger and wake you when your child starts wetting the bed. The quicker the child is able to respond to the alarm, with your help, the less they will empty their bladder which means they can react to their bladder signals and finish going to the toilet in the bathroom. It is important that the child experiences the sensation of a full bladder when they wake to the alarm as this is how the Learning by Association occurs. Over time the brain works out that the reason the loud noise happens is because they have a full bladder and they start responding to this sensation before the alarm triggers. So, if you have an incredibly deep sleeper or a child with other needs the parental alarm is a great idea as it helps you to help them respond and get the learnings as quickly as possible.
The parental alarm can be used in a parent’s bedroom that is up to 40 feet (12 metres) away from the alarm in the child’s bedroom,
The alarms include a long-life Panasonic CR2354 coin cell battery. See our Battery Safety guide. The sensor battery is permanently sealed but typically lasts longer than the treatment period. Replacement sensors are available here.

My 7yr old heavy sleeper, who has never had a dry night, was impossible to wake up for the first 7 nights. I did my best, following the instructions and managing to semi wake him up with the 2 alarms blaring and then dealing with the sleepy tantrums of him demanding to go back to bed before going to the toilet - that was very hard!! I thought it was a lost cause and he was just not at a stage where he could have a normal wake cycle when he needed to wee. My husband said to leave it after the first 7 days but I told myself just a bit longer. I am super glad I gave it a bit more time as after the first week, he became more receptive to being woken up when the alarms went off and then after night 10, something just clicked in his brain and we have had week after week of dry nights! The very occasional night since he has woken as he has started to wee but nowhere near what it was like before, only twice I think. We are now 3 months down and have not looked back! Great device, I will hold onto it a bit longer in case of regression but I honestly thing we going to be good from here!!
Before getting this alarm, my 3.5-year-old was wetting the bed almost every night. Since using it, the difference has been incredible. The alarm is very effective at waking him as soon as he starts to wee, helping him stop and finish on the toilet. After a few months of using it, he’s now had a full week of dry nights — such a big milestone! Absolutely worth it — highly recommend to any parent going through the same thing.
I'm so glad I bought this when I did. My 3 year old doesn't use diapers during the day, and she hasn't wet the bed for four nights in a row. Since day 9 of using the sensor, she consistently goes to the bathroom by herself. Yes, the sensor can be sensitive, but I know when it's a false positive (it didn't happen too often). I'm definitely using it again for my 1 year old when he's ready to start training. This product is so worth it.
Amazing product and works, it’s saved our lives xx
We have found this product very good and would definitely recommend. Very simple to use and very very effective. My son is 10 and is now dry at night after nearly wetting every night prior to use of this alarm. We have no complaints whatsoever, only praise. We found the simplest way to use is with two pairs pants and the sensor wrapped in tissue in the middle. Thank you so much.
